What does it mean to become a Compagnie des Alpes shareholder?

By becoming shareholders, you become co-owner of Compagnie des Alpes. 

Holding a stake in Compagnie des Alpes gives you a better understanding of the Group's strategic objectives and contribute to Compagnie des Alpes' decisions by attending and voting at Annual General Meeting.

There are also financial benefits: if the share price rises, you benefit from an increase in the value of your savings, directly through the shares you hold. You also benefit from the dividend approved at the Annual General Meeting and proposed by the Board of Directors.

 

There are also financial advantages: 

  • If the share price rises, the value of your CDA share portfolio will increase proportionately.
  • You may receive a dividend for each share held, as decided by the Annual General Meeting.

In short, like any shareholder, you can:

  • contribute to the company’s decisions by attending and voting at Annual General Meeting;
  • receive dividends whenever they are distributed;

How to track the share price? 

You can find out the value of your shares on the vesting date, i.e. three years after they are granted. It will equal the Compagnie des Alpes share price on that date.

How are these shares taxed?

Taxation depends on the tax rules of the various countries. They may also vary according to changes in the regulatory framework applicable locally. It generally occurs at the time of vesting and/or sale of the shares. A tax notice will be provided before the end of the vesting period in the "Documentation" section of the website.
