INTRODUCING MyCDA

MyCDA is the name of Compagnie des Alpes’ free share plan.

Compagnie des Alpes is offering all its employees the chance to receive 30 free shares a year so that each employee can become a co-owner in the company and participate in its development and success as a shareholder. 

MyCDA will make employees feel more connected to the company’s strategy and give them the opportunity to benefit from the value they help create every day. 

Receive 30 Compagnie des Alpes free shares every year. 

The Compagnie des Alpes free share plan is open to all Group employees.  

Under this plan, you can receive 30 free share rights every year and, after a three-year vesting period, you will be an official Compagnie des Alpes shareholder. 

What is a free share?

A free share is a Compagnie des Alpes share offered to eligible employees without performance conditions or financial participation. Free shares are allocated to employees in the form of rights and will be definitively acquired at the end of a vesting period. 

HOW DOES THE PLAN WORK?

Grant periods

MyCDA is a long-term, regular plan. It is expected (subject to approval by the CDA Board of Directors) to be renewed every year, irrespective of the Group’s financial results, according to a timetable that takes into account the seasonal nature of the business. 

To enable as many Group employees as possible to benefit, two grant periods have been set: 

  • in August for employees of the Leisure Parks BU and Head offices
  • in March for employees of the Ski Areas & Outdoor Activities BU and the Distribution & Hospitality BU

All eligible employees will be able to build up a portfolio of CDA shares once a year.

The first grant under the plan took place on 31 August 2023.

Key stages in the plan

  • GRANT DATE  

    On the grant date, you will receive 30 Compagnie des Alpes free shares rights. 

    You must confirm that you wish to receive the free shares by logging on to the Uptevia bank website. 

  • THREE-YEAR VESTING PERIOD 

    During this period, you do not yet own the shares. You cannot sell your share rights and you are not entitled to any dividends.

  • VESTING DATE 

    You own your 30 shares outright. After the three-year period, you become a shareholder of Compagnie des Alpes.
